Ciella Sfirri is a documentary filmmaker and editor. She is passionate about telling stories that shed light on the universality of the human experience, and creating videos that promote connection across political, economic and cultural lines.

“Living Dictionary: American Sign Language” a short film co-directed and edited with Laura Garber, premiered at FilmFest DC, and is showing at festivals around the country. She is now editing a 6 part series of “Living Dictionary” for publication on ITVS.
Her film, “Earth’s Perfume,” was published in Vogue India. The 10 minute film centers on one family owned perfumery suffering as a result of modern day synthetic perfumes and the rise of a consumer culture that devalues traditional artisanal crafts.
